IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read all instructions.
• Do not operate the lamp with a damaged cord or if the lamp has been damaged.
• Never use this equipment in any manner not specified in these instructions because the protection
provided by the equipment may be impaired.
• The TRITAN 365 is not approved for use in hazardous atmospheres. Do not attempt to use it in areas
requiring explosion-proof lighting.
CHARGING
The BP-30 battery pack must be fully charged before first use.
• Check that the voltage characteristics of the battery charger match the voltage of the
AC outlet.
• Align the male connector of the smart charger (BR-150A) to the female connector of the battery pack
(BP-30) and plug them together. Twist the ring on the charger connector to make a tight connection.
• Attach the AC cord supplied to the BR-150A charger and plug the unit into a properly regulated AC outlet.
• The indicator light on the charger will show Red while it is charging and Green when the battery is
charged. A full charge will take approximately 2 hours.
• After the battery is charged, first unplug the charger from the outlet, then unplug it from the battery pack.
WARNING: Use only the charger supplied to recharge the battery. Other chargers may harm the battery
and will void the battery's warranty.
For AC Operation
• The connector on the end of the 3.5-ft (1.06 m) cord on the lamp handle has an alignment peg, and
the corresponding connector on the AC power cord has a groove. Match the groove to the peg and
carefully screw the associated connectors together. Attach the AC adapter plug to the corresponding
AC power source that complies with the electrical requirements specified on the label.
• The lamp has a three-position rocker power switch (II–UV; O–off; I–white light) on the handle. The fan
turns on automatically and the light above the switch illuminates green when the UV LEDs are in use.
For DC Operation
• The connector on the end of the cord on the lamp handle has an alignment peg and the
corresponding connector on the fully charged BP-30 battery pack has a groove. Match the peg to the
groove and carefully push the associated connectors together.
• The lamp will operate continuously for approximately 3.5 hours on the standard, lower-intensity
setting, and for approximately 2.5 hours on the higher-intensity setting. When the indicator light on the
back of the handle turns Red the battery pack must be recharged.
You must wear the UV-absorbing spectacles supplied. The lamp should be used in
