NOTE: Pinch bolt must be positioned anteriorly on the prosthesis. Ensure
tube is fully inserted into tube clamp adapter before securing.
Procedure for cutting and assembling pylon:
The pylon should be shortened based on the Individuals
measurements. This must be done according to the instructions below,
avoid damaging the pylon as this may prevent easy insertion into the tube
clamp adapter.
I. Do not clamp tube directly in vice, use either 30mm-tube clamp or
tube cutter.
II. Ensure tube is cut straight with a hacksaw, not at an angle.
III. Remove all burs with a file and add Carbon Tube Insert before inserting
into tube clamp adapter.
IV. Loosen pinch bolt on tube clamp adapter before inserting pylon.
V. Ensure tube is fully inserted and in firm contact with base of tube
clamp adapter.
• 2 year limited warranty.
Titanium tested to ISO 10328, load level A100+66%, rated to
366lbs/166kg for normal use.
Aluminium tested to ISO10328, load level A100, rated to 220lbs / 100kg
for normal use.
