1- Introduction

This manual contains installation instructions and procedures for comissioning of the
power supplies 2 and 5A, as well as technical data.
The installation of power supplies is easy if you follow the instructions in this manual.
It is understood the design of these sources has been made by a company of fire alarm
systems in accordance with the requirements of the EN54-4.

2- Installation Guide for Power supplies

Before installing the equipment, check that all the material in the following list, is inside
the packaging and in good condition.
• Power Supply.
• Manual.
• Battery jumper cable.
If unpacking the power supply after a visual inspection notes that the equipment has
been damaged, contact the dealer who has supplied the equipment for replacement. It
is important to keep the original packaging for possible return.
2.1 Checks prior to installation.
Before installing the power supply must ensure compliance with the conditions set
forth below..
• Room temperature should be between -10 º c and 40 º c.
• The relative humidity is below 95%.
• Do not install the power supply in humid places.
• Do not install the power supply in places where they occurs vibration or shock.
• Do not install the power supply in places which hinders access to internal equipment
and wiring connections.
Check that the voltage of the electrical network to which you are connecting your
equipment is correct.
