Hydraulic multi-functional Tool
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS.
Please check carefully before operating. Make sure the tool is complete and has no damage
part.
Please do not knock any part of the tool, otherwise it is dangerous
for operator.
1.
Select the appropriate die set for the connector and cable being used. Ask an
authorized facility or distributor to choose proper compression die set for the
connector and cable being used.
Don't operate the tool without dies.
A. Crimping Step
2.
The crimping head has to be opened by pulling the Latch, press the pin to place the
connector slide into the head, following the dies will be inserted consecutively after
activating the retaining clips.
3.
The connecting material must be positioned in the crimping head, and close the head
after. In order to start operating, the turn screw must be turned 180
lever is pushed towards the handle ,
4.
Pump the activating pump handle until the upper and down dies have touched
together tightly, When the pressure reaches the maximum force, the system inside
will show "Ka" sound, it means the operator can not crimp any more.
5.
Press the Retract lever to make the pressure relief and return the dies into starting
position.
6.
Opening the latch and removing the connecting material out of the crimping head can
terminate the crimping process. Press the pin to take out the connector from the head,
lock the pump lever by turn the screw clockwise for next time use.
The built-in safety valve is tested before shipment, the user can not adjust by yourself,
please send the tool to the professional trained person to adjust, then use the tool.
B. Cutting Step.
1.
First the cutting head has to be opened by pulling the latch . Pin out of the cutting
head.
2.
The cable/conductor must be positioned in the cutting head which must be closed
thereafter. In order to start the cutting procedure the turn screw must be turned 180
while the pump handle is pushed towards the handle.
3.
A cutting process is initiated by activating the retract lever. It is defined by the
approach and penetration of the moving blade into the cable/conductor from a
vertical direction to avoid undesired shearing forces which might cause the blade to
struck or get damaged.
4.
A cutting cycle is terminated when the blades closed completely or when the
maximum cutting force is reached. This is indicated by a significant decrease of the
handle force.
5.
After the cut is completed the retract lever must be actuated to retract the piston. In
case of an error the retract lever can be actuated at any time to return the piston into
0
while the pump
its starting position.
6.
Before storing the tool, the turn screw has to be turned 180
closed until the lock is activated.
C. Punching step
1.
When selecting a work piece, please do not exceed the Maximum Cutting Capacity of
3.0mm and 1.5mm for stainless steel.
2.
Practice with a scrap work piece before using the actual work piece. Working with a
scrap work piece will help you familiarize yourself with the Punch Driver Kit.
Drill a lead hole ¢11mm at the center point of the hole marked and measured.
