Making external calls and
ending calls
External calls are calls using the public tele-
phone network.

Caller ID
Caller ID (CID) and Caller Name ID (CNID) are
optional subscription services provided by
your telephone service provider. These fea-
tures supply incoming caller identification
information that displays on your handset.
When you get a call, the caller's number dis-
plays on your handset; the caller's name
displays if it is stored in the directory or if
CNID has been requested.

Muting
You can mute your handset when making
external calls. Your caller can no longer hear
you but you can still hear them.
Press the Mute key
