9. Warranties and certificates.

NOTE: This Limited Warranty does not affect your rights under the Consumer Products Sales Act.
E.ZICOM products are eligible for the applicable legal guarantee, i.e. 1 to 2 years depending on the marketed products.
Batteries, having a limited lifespan, are considered to be a consumable. Accordingly, they are covered by a 6-month warranty
as well as accessories.
The duration of the manufacturer warranty for some of our products may occasionally be modified when sold on so-called
non-traditional distribution networks. In this case, customers acquiring a product from E.ZICOM are clearly warned of this on
the product presentation page presented on the retailer's site. Information on the contents of the product, its packaging or
any user manual may be altered.
In all cases, E.ZICOM may not be held liable for any non-compliance with regulatory or legal provisions in force in t he
destination country; E.ZICOM's liability is systematically limited to the value of the product in question, the value on its sale
date, without the possibility of any claim against the brand or producer of the product. In any event, the customer benefit s
from the legal guarantee of peaceful possession and hidden defects (art. 1625 et seq of the Civil Code). Provided that the
purchaser proves the hidden defect, the seller must legally repair all the impacts (art. 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code); In
order to know the steps to be taken regarding after-sales service for any problem or breakdown on a product , the customer
can contact the customer service by mail using the contact form (a reply as soon as possible will be provided by E.ZICOM).
You must preserve the original packaging of purchased articles during the warranty period. To benefit from the product
warranty, you must necessarily keep the product's purchase invoice.
Warranties do not cover:
The replacement of consumables (batteries, filters, brushes, virtual wall, power supply, charging station, perimeter
cable...),
Abnormal or non-compliant use of products. The customer is invited in this respect to carefully read the instructions
provided with products,
Failures related to accessories (power cables...),
Defects and their consequences linked to the intervention of a repairer not approved by E.ZICOM,
Defects and their consequences linked to usage that does not comply with the product's intended purpose
(professional use, collective use...),
Defects and their consequences linked to any external cause.
In case of a breakdown not covered by the guarantee, or the sending of an After Sales Service claim with missing
administrative documents, a quote of €99.00 incl. VAT shall be sent to the customer. If it is refused, the device shall be
returned after receipt of the signed copy of the refused quote, and a payment of €32.00 including VAT for administrative
expenses, storage and return of the product.
