Have favorite positions other than the pre programmed ZeroG position? Use the two memory buttons to store up to
two custom positions. While pressing the button, hold
time you sit down in the chair, simply press and hold the

Battery Backup
Your PC-8500 has a built-in battery backup system,
to ensure that you can incline and exit the chair if
a power failure occurs. The battery backup system
uses two common 9V batteries (not included). Be
sure to note the date you installed the batteries and
replace them on a regular basis, to ensure that the
battery backup system is functional.
IMPORTANT: To use the built-in battery backup
system to incline and exit the chair during a power
failure, press and hold the restore button to
automatically restore the chair to the upright position.
IMPORTANT: The batteries can only be used ONCE; after using the battery backup
system, replace the batteries immediately.
