FIXING OF THE DOOR PANEL
In order to mount the door panel proceed as follows (Fig. 2):
1)
Open the door panel.
2)
Remove the door panel front plate by tilting it upward.
3)
Insert all connection wires through the appropriate holes and fi x the door panel to the wall by means of
supplied mounting screws and nogs, as shown.
4)
Then connect the wires as indicated in the electrical diagram removing the diffuser.
5)
Speech volumes are factory pre-set for best performance in a medium-size system. If a "Larsen" effect
(presence of an unpleasant whistle) occurs, it will be necessary to reduce both handset and panel speech
volumes.
That can be done by rotating (counter-clockwise) both the right-hand-side trimmer - acting on the
handset volume - and the left trimmer adjusting the panel volume (Fig. 2n).
Check for correct adjustment by closing the panel front plate and verifying the Larsen effect has
disappeared.
6)
Lift the call-button rear fl ap to insert the tenant's name tag, then close it again.
For best name tags illumination, it is advisable to use silver-grey tags with green lettering.
7)
Close the panel front plate and tighten the bottom screw again.
Once more, check the "Larsen" effect is not present; if necessary, reduce the internal and external
volumes slightly.
FIXING OF THE DOOR PHONE TO THE WALL
1)
Open the door phone front cover by prying a screwdriver in the lower slots (Fig. 4a).
2)
Drill two holes in the wall, then insert the nogs supplied and pass the connection wires through the
central slit.
Fix the handset to the wall by means of its mounting screws through the appropriate slots.
Then connect wires to the door phone according to the electric diagram and respecting the cable passage
shown in Fig. 4b.
Wires sections are specifi ed in the relevant table (Fig. 1).
3)
Select the call ring tone using the two jumpers DEV1.
1
4)
Close the door phone and snap it in position being careful not to squeeze the wires between the two
shells
INSTALLATION TRANSFORMER
Connect the power transformer by following the diagram indications carefully; particular care should be paid
to the exact connection of mains wires to the corresponding transformer terminals!
Before connecting or disconnecting the transformer, switch off the mains supply.

OPERATION
After completing all wiring in accordance to the diagram, the system can be connected to mains.
During the system operation, the leds, suitable to light the name tag, will be on. The LEDs will be switch off
only during a call or with the handset unhooked.
Upon pressing a call button on the external panel, the door phone handset will ring with a two-tone sound.
The call is an electronic one, and can be sent only if the handset is hung.
At this point, the user will be able:
- to open the door without to take the handset, but pushing the lower button on the doorphone (Fig. 3)
- taking the handset, to answer, to open the door pushing the lower button on the doorphone (Fig. 3) and
to unhook.
We recommend to use a lock with mechanic release (12 V / 1.2 A max).
RINGER COMMAND FOR VOLUME/MUTE ADJUSTMENT
Shift the selector to the upper position for maximum ringer volume, to the intermediate position for minimum
volume and to the lower position to mute the ringer. A red indicating fl ag will protrude from the bottom of
the doorphone in the latter case.
