• the appliance is correctly connected to the ground,
Note: after a long stop, check if the circulation pump is not blocked, in this case, before switching on, undo the
screw in the front of the circulator (warning!
screwdriver.
6.2 Starting up
• start the filtration pump,
• Check the pool water circulation in the exchanger,
• Check the filling and degassing of the heating circuit,
• switch on the 30 mA différentiel circuit breaker, at the head of the line,
• set the required temperature on the display digital thermostat (see§ 5.2),
• press key "on/off" ("S1").
If the exchanger has been switched on for over 15 seconds, the primary circuit circulation pump will be
switched on simultaneously ("REG" indicator on).
If not a time delay will be active ("REG" indicator flashing).
Note: if the digital regulation thermostat is "on demand" and the "on/off" button "S1" (LED green), with filtration
operating ("CD" flow controller engaged), the primary circuit circulation pump is switched on. Energy is transferred
to the secondary circuit to heat the pool.
When the exchanger is operating:
- if the filtration pump stops and immediately restarts again (the flow controller opens then closes),
there will be a 15 second time delay before restarting,
- if there is a failure of the mains power supply, when it comes back on again there will be a 15
second time delay before restarting.
Observation: when the pool reaches the desired temperature, the "REG" indicator goes out, the primary circuit
circulation pump is switched off and the exchanger no longer provides heat to the pool.
6.3 Checking
Make sure that the heat exchanger stops when:
• decreasing the required temperature on the control thermostat,
• filtration is switched off,
• when pressing key "on/off" "S1" (the LED "S1" goes out).
Important! Before any intervention, make sure the unit is switched off.
6.4 Failure
In case of a visual and sound defect on the regulator (in order to stop the "beep" sound press the
key):
• if "E0" is displayed (flash and beep):
- regulation sensor is not working (cut or short-circuited or disconnected).
- reconnect or replace the sensor.
- the defect display corrects itself automatically.
• if "E2" is displayed (flash and beep):
- the regulator is not working (damaged electronics).
- replace the digital display regulator.
If the regulator display does not work, check that:
- the mains supply is live,
- the regulator protection fuse is not blown
• if the temperature of the water in the pool rises above the set temperature, check that:
- the regulator is working properly.
- no other circulation pump is acting on the primary circuit. It this is the case, provide an electric
valve on the flow side of the primary heating circuit powered by terminals 22-26.
6.5 Winter storage
• press the key "S1" to stop the heating function,
• switch off the power supply (by disengaging of the 30 mA differential circuit breaker at the head of
the exchanger line),
• drain the pool circuit by removing both connection union fittings in order to avoid the risk of frost.
• drain the primary circuit (after closing the isolation valves) by removing the drain plug only if frost
can be expected.
Water can escape), then turn the circulator motor shaft using a
