Programming: Automatic "operating"

You can programme the appliance to prepare the coffee automatically�
First, prepare in accordance with steps 1-5 above� It is currently 08:10 and you want to make the
coffee maker work automatically at 13:00� Do the following:
1. Press the "On/Off" button twice, the "Auto" indicator light to the right will light up�
2. Press the "Prog" button once; the "CLOCK" will display in the top right part of the display�
3. Press the "Hour" and "Min" buttons to adjust the current time (the actual time); it is 08:10 (see
fig� 1)�
4. Press the "Prog" button once again and then "TIMER" will display in the top left of the area of the
display�
5. Adjust the delayed start time by pressing the "Hour" button and the "Min" button; this is 13:00
(see fig 2)� After approximately 10 seconds, the LCD will display the current time� You can see the
programme time by pressing "Prog "�
If the time is set, the "Auto" indicator light will turn off, while the "Operating" indicator light will light
up and the unit will begin to work� The appliance will power off automatically , if it is
not disconnected manually after finishing making the coffee�
Note: You can cancel the automatic operation function by pressing the "On/Off" button� If you want
to change the time of automatic operation, simply follow steps 1-4�

Maintenance and cleaning

WARNING: Unplug the appliance and let the heating plate cool down before cleaning� Never
immerse the appliance or the power cord in water or any other liquid for cleaning�
1. Clean the removable parts in hot, soapy water after every use�
2. Wipe the outside surface of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth�
3. Water could accumulate above the filter or fall drop by drop on the base of the product during
brewing� Wipe with a clean and dry cloth after every use�
4. Use a damp cloth to lightly wipe the heating plate�
Never use abrasive detergent�
5. Replace all parts and store them for the next use�

Descaling

For greater efficiency, you must remove the mineral deposits that come from the water depending
on the quality of the water in your area and the frequency of use� If the residues are excessive, the
appliance will show the following signs:
• The coffee making time will become longer� Normally, it takes 7-9 minutes to make a full jug
of coffee�
• The appliance repeatedly alternates between "on" and "off" before the end of the flow of
water�
The descaling process is necessary in the above case� The descaling process could be done using the
following method:
Use the descaler� Prepare the solution according to the instructions provided�
• Fill the container with the solution� Operate it, without coffee, but with an empty filter� Half
way through the flow of water, let it rest for 15 minutes, and restart the rest of the container�
Use the solution of vinegar (white only) and water, the volume ratio is: 1:3�
• Fill the container with the solution� Operate it, without coffee, but with an empty filter� Half
