3) Angle the lighthead as required, adjusting the three joints (housing-base, base-rod and
rod-mounting surface). When the position has been selected, tighten up screw Nº10 and plastic
nut Nº11. (See figure 1)
The swivel action of the rod can also be blocked on the surface by using the pin block (see
Figure 1, nº 13). To effect this, angle the lighthead as shown in step 3 and continue with the
following steps:
4) Mark the centre of the NOTCH (see figure 1) where the pin block is situated.
5) Remove the lighthead from the drill hole and file the NOTCH with a round file 5 mm in
diameter.
6) Insert the pin block into the slot in the pad and re-connect the threaded rod in the new
drill hole, matching up the pin block with the NOTCH effected. When the lighthead has been
positioned correctly, tighten up bolt Nº10 and plastic nut Nº11.
B) INSTALLATION ON THE GRILL CAR OR SIMILAR (METAL BRACKET
MOUNTING)
To install the unit using the installed metal
bracket, proceed as follows:
1) Determine the desired mounting location.
Scribe drill position marks on the mounting surface
for the 8mm mounting bolt Nº16 and for a cable
routing hole (if desired).
CAUTION
Before drilling holes in ANY part of a vehicle, be
sure that both sides of the mounting surface are clear
of parts that could be damaged; such as brake lines,
fuel lines, electrical wiring or other vital parts.
2) Drill a mounting hole an cable routing hole (if
desired) at the previously scribed drill position
marks.
3) Secure the light assembly to the mounting
surface using the bolt Nº16, washer Nº17,
lockwasher Nº18, and nut Nº19 as shown in figure
2.
WIRING
Position the female terminals on the
corresponding cables connected to a lamp outlet
in the power supply unit.
Connect the female terminals to the 3 way
socket connector as shown in FIGURE 3.
