Installation
 Mount your unit at a desirable height (recommended above 8 ft) and under direct sunlight. Make
sure that the anti-tamper button on the back of the unit (1

Location: For the best result, please locate your solar security system in a position where it receives
direct sunlight and is generally free from cover and shade. Be aware of foliage and building
overhangs when placing the solar security system.
 Install one of the Gap detectors on the door/window and the other one on the corresponding frame
so that they remain in contact when the door/window is closed.
 Install the PIR detector ideally in the corner of a room mounted at a height of 6-8 ft to ensure
maximum range coverage.
Operation
 To arm the alarm, press the Lock button on the remote control. (one beep)
 To disarm, press the Unlock button. (two beeps)
 To trigger the alarm manually, press the Synchronization button (lightning bolt)
Alarm Activation
The alarm will be activated (LED Lights and Siren ON) when it has been armed and one of the following
situations occurs:
 If the Door/Window Gap Detectors separate (opened door/window)
 If the PIR sensor detects movement
 If the Alarm unit is physically removed from the wall (the anti-tampering button will pop up)

Alarm Length Settings
Your Solar Security System has the ability to be set for 3 alarm sound lengths. This is achieved by a set
of sliding pin settings. To access the pins remove the clear red housing. Pin settings are as follows:
Pin 1 is two minutes; pin 1 & 2 up results in 4 minutes, all pins pushed up will be 8 minute
Trouble Shooting
1. Ensure that the Light Sensor is not being affected by any other light source.
2. Ensure the Solar panel is free from shading, during the day
3. Make sure the switch is set to the "ON" position.
4. Check that the batteries are installed correctly.
IT IS NORMAL FOR SPEAKER TO MAKE CLICKING SOUND WHEN UNIT IS CHARGED BUT NOT
MOUNTED FOR USE.
Maintenance
Clean the solar security system regularly with a damp cloth to guarantee optimum performance. Do not
use any type of solvent for cleaning and be careful or abrasive surface.
