DIN Rail Power Module Rough-In Enclosure
Please read before installing.
1.
Mount Rough-In Enclosure using one of the
following methods (mounting hardware is not
provided):
a. Surface Mount - Use keyholes shown in
Figure 1 with bolts sufficient for 50 lb
(23 kg) load. 1/4 in (M6) bolts
recommended.
b. Recess Mount - Use screws through the
right side of the panel sufficient for 50 lb
(23 kg) load. Mount panel flush to or not
more than 1/8 in (3 mm) below the finished
wall surface. Panel is 2
past cover mounting tabs.
NOTICE - This equipment is air-cooled. Mount
in a location where the vented cover will not be
blocked. 12 in (30 cm) of clearance in front of
the vents is required.
NOTICE - This equipment is intended for indoor
use only.
2.
Mount the Power Module(s) onto the DIN rail.
Maximum of two Power Modules per panel
(one per DIN rail section). Follow mounting
instructions provided with the Power Module(s).
WARNING! Shock hazard.
May result in serious injury or death.
To avoid risk of shock, locate and lock
supply breaker in the OFF position before
wiring to power terminal blocks.
CAUTION - All wiring must be in
accordance with national and local
electrical codes.
3.
Run power and control wiring in accordance
with the Power Module install guide. Locations
to run power and control wiring in the panel are
shown in Figure 1.
4.
Install cover. Ensure the vents are on the right
side of the cover. Tighten screws to 20 in-lbs
(2.3 N•m).
