Use the appliance only
•
with the original base plate.
The amount of water must
•
be between the MIN and
MAX marks. Otherwise
any excess water will spill
over when it boils, produ-
cing a risk of scalding.
Accessible surfaces may
•
become very hot when
the appliance is in opera-
tion.
Always unplug the appliance after
•
use and before assembling or remo-
ving parts, and performing any main-
tenance or cleaning operations. Also
unplug it in the case of a power cut.
The appliance must be switched off
before plugging or unplugging it into
the mains.
Unplug the unit from the mains and wait
•
until it cools down before cleaning it.
To keep the unit in perfect condition,
•
clean and descale it by following the
instructions given in the "Cleaning and
Maintenance" section.
If the appliance is hot, handle it with
•
care and hold it only by the handle.
To fill the jar, first remove it from the
•
base plate, to prevent water from spi-
lling on the plate.
Take care to avoid the steam and do
•
not open the lid while the appliance is
on. This can cause injuries from steam
and hot water splashes

appliance, do not use it and take it to
an authorised assistance service.
Do not use any parts or accessories not

supplied or recommended by SOLAC.
Before plugging the appliance into the

mains, check that the indicated voltage
is the same as in your home.
Never pull the cord or use it to hang

up the appliance. Always unplug the
appliance by pulling the connection
pin, and not the cord.
Make sure the cord does not come into

contact with sharp edges or hot sur-
faces. Do not leave the cord hanging
over the edge of a table or worktop,
to prevent children from pulling it and
causing the appliance to fall.
Remove all elements from the inside or
•
outside of the appliance used for pro-
tection during transport or for sales pro-
motions, such as paper or plastic bags,
plastic sheets, cardboard and stickers.
Do not touch the appliance with wet
•
hands when in operation.
Do not use the appliance on wet surfa-
•
ces or outdoors.
The appliance must be connected to
•
a power socket with a suitable ground
connection.
Do not leave the appliance unattended
•
when switched on.
Make sure that there is water in the tank,
•
before switching on the appliance.
The jar is not suitable for use in mi-
•
crowave ovens.
CAUTION!: When you wish to
dispose of the appliance, NEVER
throw it in the rubbish.
Instead, go your nearest CLEAN
POINT or waste collection point,
where it will receive subsequent
treatment. You will thus be helping
to take care of the environment.
