OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Wear safety goggles while using the Battery Booster.
Make sure that the Battery Booster is not connected to the power supply mains.
Place the red clamp on the positive pole (+) of the battery.
Place the black clamp on either the negative pole (-) of the battery or a metal part of the vehicle body, paying attention
to the moving parts, including belts and fans.
Select the correct voltage by the 12-24V selector switch.
Make sure that the Battery Booster is in a safe position and that it cannot fall through vibration when the vehicle is
started.
After the vehicle has been started, disconnect first the black clamp, and then the red one, and immediately replace them
on their respective seats.
IMPORTANT: IF THE VEHICLE DOES NOT START WITHIN 10 SECONDS, DO NOT KEEP TRYING TO START IT!
WAIT APPROXIMATELY 3 MINUTES BEFORE HAVING A SECOND TRY, TO ALLOW THE BATTERIES TO COOL
DOWN. THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY OVERUSE MIGHT PROVE IRREVERSIBLE FOR THE BATTERIES OF THE
BATTERY BOOSTER.
NB: A faulty battery might "refuse" to be charged by the Battery Booster
STORING VEHICLE MEMORIES:
Starting any vehicle by the Battery Booster might cause a few memories to be lost, including the radio and clock ones.
To prevent this from happening, before trying to start the vehicle, the Battery Booster should be connected to the car
cigarette lighter socket. This will allow such data to be stored.
IMPORTANT: For this to happen, the ignition key must be so positioned as to supply the dashboard with
power.
ENERGY SOURCE:
The Battery Booster is also a source of energy for any 12V DC devices fitted with female cigarette lighter sockets. The
12V outlet is designed to protect against 20A overcharges.
DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY :
The product complies with Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 89/336/
EEC, issued by the Commission of the European Community.
Beta Utensili s.p.a. declines all responsibility for improper use or use contrary to the instructions contained herein. The
