SETTING A CUSTOM EMPTY SPOOL WEIGHT
Setting a custom empty spool weight

Starting with the scale switched off, press and hold the

then whilst still holding the
scale on.
When the scale turns on, let go of the

The LCD will display the current customized empty spool weight, with

the first character on the right hand side flashing.
Press the

select the required number for the flashing character. Every time the
button is pressed, the flashing number will increase by 1. After 9
the flashing number will go back to '0'
Once the required number has been selected for the first character on

the right hand side, press the
and move the digit selection to the second character.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 above, but this time for the second and third

character.
Once all 3 numbers are set to the required values, press the

once to save the newly entered empty spool weight and switch off the
scale.
To use this custom weight instead of the default empty spool weight
press the
scale each time. By not pressing this button each time after the scale is
turned on the default empty spool weight will continue to be used.
