7. Day of the week and moon phase change automatically depending on the set year,
month and date.
8. The display will return to normal operation after 8 seconds of inactivity.

4.3 Alarm set: 1. Hold ALARM button for 2 seconds to enter alarm setting.
2. With each press of the ALARM button, it will advance through the following
Sequence: Hour > Minute 3. The active setting will flash
4. Press "UP" button, the setting will advance one step; press and hold the button for more
than 2 seconds and the setting will advance rapidly (8 steps/second).
5. Press "DOWN/CF" button, the setting will go backward one step; press and hold the

6. Press " ALARM" to confirm the setting. 7.The display will return to normal operation
after 8 seconds of inactivity. 8. Once exited from the alarm setting, press the "ALARM"
button to switch the alarm on or off. 9. When alarm rings, press "SNOOZE.LIGHT" to enter
snooze mode. The alarm is postponed for 5 minutes
10. Press any other button to stop the alarm.
V. Function and effect:
5.1 The receiving function of RF
1. After installing the battery and checking temperature/humidity, it will enter RF receiving
state automatically for 3 minutes. 2. Under normal display mode, hold the "CH" key for 2
seconds to clear out the channel information
3. If there is no effective signal with same ID code received for the current channel in 35
minutes, the temperature of that CH will shows "--. -".
4. The temperature display will resume back when the correct signal is received again
5. Installation location of the sensor
The cover of the external sensor is not waterproof. If the sensor is located outdoors, it
must be located in such a location that rain or snow does not fall directly on to it.
Never install the sensor on metal bases and objects or do not place it inside metal covers.
If possible locate the sensor on the north side of the house so that temperature
measurement is not distorted by the effect of sunlight.
5.2 The function of RCC receiving:
1. Conditions of entering RCC receiving status:
a. Power on or reset to enter RCC receiving status
b. Entering RCC receiving status at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 automatically
c. Press "DOWN/CF" for 2 seconds to enter RCC receiving status forcedly
2. The time for RCC receiving is 7 minutes

3. The displaying of icons during receiving:
a. When it enters RCC receiving status, the tower-shaped part of RCC symbol on the LCD
will flash in the frequency of 1 Hz. b. When it is receiving the signal, the tower-shaped part
of RCC symbol will be still, while thesymbol of RCC will flash in the frequency of 1 Hz.
4. When it receives the signal successfully, the whole RCC icons will be ON, and exit the
receiving status.
5. When it is receiving signals, press "Down/CF" key, it will exit RCC receiving status,
pressing any other key will have no effect.
6. During the 4 times of auto receiving everyday, if it received signal once, it will not enter
the receiving status automatically until 2:00 next day. 7. When it fails to receive the signals
4 times in a day, it will receive the signal at 2:00 next day.
8. During receiving RCC, if the alarm rings, it will exit RCC receiving status first and change
into alarm ringing status, and will enter the RCC receiving again after the ring stops.
9. When DST is able and is receiving the signal, it will display the symbol of DST, showing
that it enters the DST system, and the time will be 1 hour faster.
10. When the RCC symbol is displaying, the relative RCC icon will be OFF if the present
time is changed.
5.3 The function of temperature and humidity
1. The indoor temperature display range: 0°C/+50°C (32°F/+122°F)
2. The humidity range: 20%-90%3. The temperature's detection
will be stopped when alarm rings.
5.4 The function of weather forecast: 1. 24 hour weather forecast trend
2. Weather icons for 4 states: sunny>semi-sunny>cloudy>rainy.
3. Under open air, weather forecast will be accurate, but there will be some errors
n the room or air-conditions.
5.5 Trend indicator: 1. The difference between current temperature and recorded
temperature is more than +1°C, the trend shows rise.
2. The difference between current temperature and recorded temperature is less than -
1°C, the trend shows drop.
3.Indication of the comfort index:
a. Dry: when temperature range is any values, humidity range is under 40%
b. Comfort: when temperature range is between 20-28`C, humidity is between 40-70%
c. Wet: when temperature range is any values, humidity range is more than 70%
d. No indication: temperature range is less than 20`C and more than 28`C,
humidity range is between 40-70%.
