Connections
1. Connect the AXIS 211/211A to your network using a standard network cable.
2. Connect power, using one of the 3 supported methods listed below:
• The supplied power adapter.
• PoE (Power over Ethernet) via the network cable (AXIS 210A/AXIS 211/AXIS 211A). This will
automatically be detected if available via the network.
• The I/O terminal connector on the rear panel.
Important!
To use the AXIS 211/211A outdoors it must be installed in an outdoor enclosure. For more information on
outdoor enclosures, please visit www.axis.com
