The rubber plugs inserted in the headphone and subwoofer ports ensure
optimum sound quality. Remove the plug from the port to attach headphones
or a subwoofer. Reinsert the rubber plugs when the ports are not in use.
Operating Precautions
•
To prevent risk of electric shock, do not remove the covers or backs of the
speakers.
•
Do not expose the speakers or the external power source to water or other
liquids.
•
Always disconnect the speakers from the power source before attaching
or removing any speaker cables.
•
Do not expose the speakers to direct sunlight, excessive dust, or
vibrations.
•
Use a damp soft cloth to clean the speakers. Do not use a solvent.
•
Fluorescent or neon light fixtures can interfere with the speakers and
create a humming sound. Move speakers away from these fixtures to
reduce or eliminate noise.
•
Avoid microphone feedback, continuous output from electronic musical
instruments, and distorted output from any signal source.
•
To prevent data loss on discs and tapes, keep them at least four inches
away from the speakers.
•
Use only the AC adapter that shipped with the speakers. Using another
power supply may damage the speakers.
Caution:
Always disconnect the AC adapter from the power source
before handling the adapter or speakers.
