time, then switch it on again: Slide the switch
(2) downwards (OFF), then upwards again
(ON). Then transmit the message once again.
If the name badge still fails to respond cor-
rectly, this may be due to a dead battery: In
this case, replace the battery (1).
– For transmission, a message must at least
contain one character. For "deleting" the start
message, simply transmit a blank.

Memorizing and Loading a Message
1) A message entered in the message display
(12) can be memorized on the PC for later
use. For this purpose, click the floppy disk
icon (7), then define and confirm a path and a
file name in the window which will appear.
2) To load a message previously memorized on
the PC in the message display (12) for trans-
mitting it to the name badge, click the Open
icon (6). Select the desired file and confirm. If
there is already a message in the display, it
will be replaced by the message from the file.
For transmitting the message to the name
badge, perform steps 6) to 8) of chapter 4.

Fastening the Name Badge
For wearing the name badge on your clothes, re-
move the magnetic plate (4) from the badge side-
ways and, from the inside of the garment, hold it
against the metal plate on the rear side of the
badge so that the fabric will be in between.
Note: Always switch off the name badge after
operation, otherwise the battery will be con-
sumed unnecessarily: Slide the switch (2) down-
wards (OFF).

Deinstalling the PC Programme
For removing the LNP-10 software from the PC,
proceed as follows:
1) Start the deinstallation programme "Name-
badge\Unwise" via the Windows start menu.
2) In the window "Select Uninstall Method" which
will appear, the option "Automatic" is selected.
Click "Next >" to continue the deinstallation.
3) In the following window "Perform Uninstall",
click "Finish" to terminate the deinstallation.
As a result, all programme files and the links
in the system menu and on the Windows
desktop will be removed.
When deinstalling, all message files memorized
by the user will be preserved.
