13. DO NOT operate the flat iron with a damaged power cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunctions or damaged in any manner. Contact the service number for a refund,
repair, or replacement.
14. DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any hot
surface.
15. DO NOT pull, twist or wrap the power cord around the flat iron, even during storage.
16. NEVER block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a
bed or couch, where air openings may be blocked. Keep air openings free of lint and
hair.
17. Use this flat iron only for its intended use as described in this manual. The use of
accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire,
electrical shock, or risk of injury.
18. DO NOT place the flat iron on or near hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
19. Turn the control knob to "OFF" before plugging the power supply cord into the wall
outlet. To disconnect turn the control knob to OFF before removing the plug from the
wall outlet.
20. NEVER use while sleeping.
21. NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening or hole.
