The gas detector is provided with a terminal board which is accessible
for connection into the circuit by removing the cover. Terminals 1 and 2
are for the supply voltage (230V) and terminals 3, 4 and 5 are the relay
contacts (NO, C, NC).

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Rated voltage: 230V/50Hz.
– Operating ambient temperature:
• reference: 20 ± 2°C
• range: -5...+35°C
– Operating ambient relative humidity:
• reference: 65...70% ± 5% at 20 ± 2°C
• range: from 20...85% at +35°C
– Alarm and Control: by changeover contact.
• Terminal 4 = common wire
• Terminal 5 = NC contact
• Terminal 3 = NO contact
– Contact capacity: 8A/250Vac-cosϕ = 1 5A/250Vac - cosϕ = 0.4
– Activation threshold: factory-set
RGl: 2400 ± 400ppM LPG/air ratio (equals 12% of lowest explosion
limit)
RGm: 6000 ± 1000ppM Methane/air ratio (equals 12% of lowest
explosion limit)
– Limits of variation of the threshold:
RGl: 950...3500ppM (equals 5% and 18.5% of lowest explosion
limit respectively)
RGm: 2500...9250ppm (equals 5% and 18.5% of lowest explosion
limit respectively).
– Time of the sensor's reactivation: 120 seconds ± 5%
– Time of alarm delay: 20 seconds ± 5%
– Stabilization period of the threshold of activation after more than two
weeks without power: 7/10 days.
– Degree of protection IP42
INSTALLATION
Assembly
The detector is installed directly on the wall, with power supply cables
and/or controls carried by surface raceways, which lead to the standard
round or three-component rectangular boxes onto which the detector can
be easily fitted using the drilling hoses provided.
Fixing holes
In order to reach the fixing holes, the cover of the detector must be remo-
ved by using the point of a screwdriver in the appropriate slot in the
slide. In order to reach the terminals and one of the fixing holes, the ter-
minals' cover must be removed by undoing the fixing screws.
60 mm.
Overall dimensions
Where installing the detector:
– At a distance of 2-4 metres from the gas appliance (heater, cooker, etc..)
– In every room where ther is a gas appliance, if possible.
– For more accurate detection, a detector should be instaled on each
floor of a multi-storey building.
– Closed doors or other obstacles can prevent "contact" between the
gas and the detector, and slow down or keep altogether the alarm
from starting. They can also stop people on the other side from hea-
ring the alarm. Therfore a sufficient number of detectors and acoustic
alarms should be installed.
82,5 mm.
