Intended use
STRAUSS is a weather station with
sensors, its signals are read by a Chopin
hard-wired weather control unit, designed
to automatically manage any moving
elements like boxed awnings, rolling
shutters, drapes and rolling blinds) in
relation to weather conditions.
VERSIONS
STRAUSS W: weather station with Wind
sensor (item code 001YE0007).
STRAUSS SW: weather station with Sun-
Wind sensor (item code 001YE0008).
 Any installation and use other than that
specifi ed in this manual is forbidden.

Installation
⚠ Installation must be carried by
skilled, qualified technicians in
accordance with current regulations.
PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Make sure the weather station is fastened
to an impact-protected area, yet in
relation to the chosen model, that it is
exposed to air-fl ow and sun-light.
Fasten to solid, fl at planes using proper
bolts, nuts and washers.
Set up proper conduits and electric
cable raceways, making sure these are
protected from any mechanical damage.
