TRUSST® QRG
Positioning the Dollies and Spacers
Once the dollies are fit into place, and your first truss level is snuggly secured;
1. Place a pair of spacers on top of the first level of truss. These should be directly in line with the
dollies.
2. Secure snuggly and repeat with remaining spacers and truss.
Placing the Ratchet Straps
Working inward from the dollies, use the image above to choose the best placement for your length of
truss. The straps should be no more than 25% from the end of the truss piece.
1. Holding the ratchet in hand, throw the free end of the strap up and through your top level of truss,
and then thread under your truss stack. Be sure the metal ratchet is accessible, but not rubbing
against any part of the truss.
· Make sure weight and length of truss is distributed evenly on dollies.
· When using dollies on steep ramps, position the dollies closer to the outer recommended
range. Pay special attention so the truss ends do not hit the ground or floor. Impact may
cause damage.
TRUSST® recommends a two-person team to load and move truss stacks.
Pinch Point! Keep hands and fingers clear of the saddles when placing truss.
