Intended Use

The M1196A and M1196T reusable Clip Sensors provide continuous,
non-invasive measurement of arterial oxygen saturation (pulse rate signal
and plethysmograph wave) to any SpO
testing. Either sensor can be comfortably clipped onto the finger of
patients weighing >40kg (typically adult patients).
Accessories Supplied with Sensors
• Sensor Compatibility Sheet: Lists all instruments that are compatible
with the reusable M1196A and M1196T Clip Sensors.
• Instructions for Use: Includes Clip Sensor product descriptions, patient
applications, Warnings against improper use, cleaning and disinfection
procedures, and sensor specifications.
Accessories Available for Separate Purchase
• M1900B Adapter Cable: 9-pin (D-Sub female) to 12-pin (round male)
adapter cable. Connects M1196T sensor to any compatible Philips/
Agilent/HP instrument that has a 12-pin SpO
sensor cable length by 3m.
• M1943A Adapter Cable: 9-pin (D-sub female) to 8-pin (round male)
adapter cable. Connects M1196T sensor to any compatible Philips/
Agilent/HP instrument that has an 8-pin SpO
sensor cable length by 1.1m.
• M1943AL Adapter Cable: A longer (3m) version of the M1943A
adapter cable.
