This kit is used to add a regulated underfloor heating circuit.
It is not permitted to install a room thermostat on the direct
circuit.
Make the hydraulic connections according to the examples provided
in this manual.
1. Install the outside temperature sensor.
See instructions for the external heating control system.
2. Connect the external heating control system to the 3-way circuit,
underfloor heating.
The external heating control system comes configured for an
underfloor heating circuit.
The external heating control system is IP20 (Protection Rating)
and cannot be installed in a laundry or a wet room.
See instructions for the external heating control system.
3. Clip the relay to the bracket in the heat pump's indoor module.
B000003-2
4. Connect the relay to the heat pump and the external heating
control system on the second circuit.
The relay is needed only if a domestic hot water 3-way valve is
used. The relay is needed for heat pumps equipped with a
domestic hot water tank. If the relay is not used, place a bridge
between the terminals 3 and the control system earthing.
5. Put the heating-conducting paste on the flow sensor and fix it to
the underfloor heating flow pipe using the clamp.
6. Connect the 3-way mixing valve, the outside temperature sensor,
the heating pump and the temperature sensor on the underfloor
heating circuit to the external heating control system.
7. Connect the external heating control system to the mains using
the power cord provided.
8. In the basic settings for the external heating control system
displayed on first-time commissioning, select program ECR 2
from the selection of diagrams.

Connection to a room thermostat option on mixed circuit
- In a circuit with no domestic hot water production, connect the room
thermostat to terminal 3 (S3) on the external heating control
system.

0V
- For the circuit with domestic hot water production, connect the
normally closed contact (NC) on the room thermostat to contact 22
on the common contact (C) in the terminal in the external heating
regulator. Connect the 21 contact from the relay to the 3 (S3)
terminal on the external heating control system.
