Channels 6 to 8 and channels 9 to 10
The distance between the starting addresses must be
four channels for the units LE-500DMX and LE-
510DMX and five channels for the unit LE-550DMX.
The transmitted programme instructions are repeated
by the controllers at this channel distance.
4.2 Connections
1) Connect the XLR jack (9) of the controller via a
3-pole XLR cable (e. g. MEC series by "img Stage
Line") to the XLR input jack of the light effect unit.
When operating several light effect units, connect
the first unit to the second unit via another XLR
cable, etc.
2) Connect the supplied power supply unit to the low
voltage jack (10) of the controller and connect the
power supply unit to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
After connection to the power supply, the controller is
ready for operation.
For switching off the unit, disconnect the power
supply unit from the mains socket. For a more con-
venient operation, it is recommended to connect the
unit to a mains socket which can be switched on and
off via a light switch.

Important!
Before switching on the light effect unit or connect-
ing it to the power supply, always set the controller
into operation first. If the light effect unit is switched
on before, it will not recognize the controller con-
nected or switched on later!
5 Operation
After switching on, the controller LE-550C starts the au-
tomatic programme sequence of the first programme.
The controllers LE-500C and LE-510C are in the stand-
by mode.
5.1 Music control (audio mode)
The miniature DMX controllers are provided with a
built-in microphone (5) for controlling the sequence of
the individual programmes via an audio source.
1) Controller LE-550C: After switching on, keep the
button TRIG/AUDIO (7) pressed until the display (1)
shows "Au".
Controllers LE-500C and LE-510C are in the
audio mode after switching on but they are on stand-
by only: The display shows "–". For starting pro-
gramme 1, press the green button + (3). The dis-
plays shows "1".
2) Adjust the volume on the music system in such a way
that the dynamic efficiency of the music is reproduc-
ed by the alternating gobos and the moving mirrors.
