OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Selecting Height Measuring Unit
After initializing the touch bar in centimeters, the height measuring unit can be changed to display
height in inches or feet/inches if preferred. Follow this procedure to change the unit of measure.
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Pull out one end of a battery.
3. Press and hold the on/off button while replacing the battery.
4. Dashes will appear on the display followed by "Inlt". Continue holding
the on/off button until your desired unit of measure appears.
Units of measure will appear successively and are shown as:
nnnn (cm), Inch and Feet
5. Release the on/off button when the desired unit is displayed, the
touch bar will power off.
1. Power on the touch bar by pressing the
on/off button.

2. Depending on the position of the touch bar,
slide it up or down the height rod channel
past the reference mark. The present height
value will appear.
Note: Sliding the height rod upward will not
measure height. Height is only calculated when
the touch bar is moved downward.
3. Slide the touch bar to the top of the height
rod. It is now ready for use. Position the
patient with their back against the height rod
and heels touching the wall. Ensure that the
patient's posture is upright, and that the
patient's head is straight and level. Slide the
touch bar down until it rests gently on the
patient's head. The patient's height will
appear on the display.
Notes:
1. The touch bar will automatically power off after 30 seconds of inactivity.
2. When not in use, leave the touch bar in the top position.
3. Keep magnets away from the device to prevent permanent damage and inaccurate
measurements.
