The power indicator will light and the display will show the ambient temperature.
Flick the power switch to the on position. If the thermostat control knob temperature is set higher than the
ambient temperature, the device will start. The device will stop if the ambient temperature is reached.
7.2
Cold Start-Up
At low ambient temperatures, keep a finger on the air vent hole during the ignition. In case of malfunction
(flame failure, reduced airflow, bad combustion), the device will stop and the indicator light starts flashing
(lockout mode).

Manual Reset/Restart
If the device is in lockout mode, check and resolve the lockout problem before re-starting. To reset, flick the
on-off switch to the off position and then again to the on position.
In case of repeated malfunction, please contact your dealer.

Shut-Down
Never disconnect the device from the mains to stop it while in operation.
Always allow the device to cool completely to avoid residual heat damaging
the internal components.
Do not cover the device. Do not block the air inlet and outlet.
The outlet is very hot during operation and after use. Do not touch!
Supervise children to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Unplug the device before moving it. Never pull the cable to unplug or move
it.
Do not leave the device unattended when in use.
Never use the device with wet hands or when either the device or power
cable is wet.
Flick the on-off switch to the off position and disconnect from the mains.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Before starting any maintenance task, switch off, unplug and let the device
cool down for at least 15 minutes.
Do not attempt any electrical repair yourself. If the device needs service or
repair, contact a qualified technician.
Do not use a faulty device.
When cleaning, make sure that water does not enter the device.
Do not open the device to clean the internal parts. Do not spray water into
the device.
Never use solvents, gasoline, toluene and similar aggressive chemicals to
clean the device.
Regularly wipe the device using a soft sponge or cloth. For very dirty parts, use a sponge wetted with lukewarm
water and a mild detergent, and dry with a clean cloth.
Keep the air inlet and fan free from dust and dirt. To clean inner parts, gently blow compressed air through the
air inlet.
Regularly inspect the power cable. If worn, cracked or damaged, have it replaced by qualified personnel.
Before storing, make sure the device is perfectly cool and dry. Cover the device with a plastic bag and store in
a dry, well-ventilated place.
Qualified personnel must carry out the following checks before every seasonal use:
Nozzle
Carefully unscrew the nozzle fitting. Blow compressed air through the nozzle orifice to free it from dirt. Replace
the nozzle if necessary.
