- Open the gas regulator with a quarter circle anti-
clockwise turn and immediately ignite the burner with
gas lighter (A)
- Turn off the appliance immediately if it performs
unusually during operation. It is normal for the
bottom of the cartridges to cool down after
prolonged periods of operation.
- Always close the gas regulator after using the
appliance. Remember that when the appliance is
being used its parts heat up and can cause burns,
even if only used for short periods of time. Allow the
device to cool down before storing it.
CHANGING THE GAS CYLINDER
- Check for flames before replacing the cartridge.
- Check that the gas cartridge is completely empty opening the gas regulator. Ceck that there is no gas
escaping from the device; shake it to check for liquids inside the catridge.
- Remove the burner from the cartidge by turning it anti-clockwise and remove the cartridge from the
cartridge holder.
- Proceed as instructed above in the chapter titled 'Fitting the cartridge'
Caution! Read the safety instructions before fitting the cartridge, especially the 'Before
removing the cartridge' section
CHECKING FOR GAS LEAKS
Check for gas leaks holding the device with a gas cartridge fitted under water for two minutes. No bubbles
may escape.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
1. Check that the rubber valve is intact and in perfect condition.
2. Ensure that all the connections are tight.
3. When using the appliance, check that the flame does not change colour or become out of position.
Mesh and nozzle may have to be cleaned.
4. In the event of any operational failure take the appliance to a competent person for repair or contact
the manufacturer.
RECYCLING
Worn out tools must be recycled at a suitable recycling facility. Do not dispose of in the household
waste. For further information contact your local authority. Dispose of the packaging material
according to the type of material and accordingly to any local regulations.
