Remove Screen Cover
You will need to remove the Screen Cover of the unit in order to fit it into the
ProSHIELD. Slide your thumbnail underneath the 3 catches (E), (F) & (G)
and pull forward to unclip. (If you prefer you can also use a small flat-head
screwdriver). Once all 3 catches have been released, lift the Screen Cover
away from the unit, so the latch slides out of the holder (H).
2
Lifting the flap
Remove the Sprung Steel Clip (C) by pulling both ends apart and sliding
down. Lift the flap at the back of the ProSHIELD. Please note: The dots on
both sides of the flap mark the maximum lifting point (I). Take care to pull
the flap only as far as the indicated points to avoid possible tears.
3
Insert Active 10
Slide the Active 10 into the ProSHIELD by inserting the top end of the unit
first, making sure the screen of the unit lines up with the screen window
of the ProSHIELD. The ProSHIELD fits snugly around the Active 10 (which
ensures the case is waterproof). Wrap the open end of the ProSHIELD
around the bottom of the unit. Please note: To ensure the fitting is air tight,
only an Active 10 with a Standard Battery Back should be used with the
ProSHIELD. A Slimline Battery Back or Mount Battery Back will not fit
correctly.
4
Secure the ProSHIELD
Slide the Sprung Steel Clip (C) over the bottom of the ProSHIELD. The
curved end of the clip should rest in the front groove (L). Slot the clip ends
into each hole (J) & (K) to secure the ProSHIELD around the unit.
5
Insert Reversible Fixing Bracket
Slide the Reversible Fixing Bracket (D) into the slot at the back of the
ProSHIELD.This can be inserted either way facing in or out, and used to
attach a lanyard for example.
Important note: Please make sure there is a good seal all the way around
the front and back of the ProSHIELD. This seal needs to stay intact to
prevent any leakage and any external pressure may distort it (e.g. using a
bungee cord).
