The automatic column recognition may be on. Press and hold the Scan button for 2
seconds to disable the column recognition.

Open the camera arm and try it again.
If the Scan button still does not respond, check if the unit is powered.

Make sure the battery is not empty. If the battery is empty, connect the power adaptor to
charge the battery.
