I cannot activate the alarm when pressing the alarm button and the alarm
symbol doesn't appear.
Ensure Security Mode is switched Off. Is the Security Mode 'house' symbol displayed?
The Sunrise (alarm) and Sunset cannot be activated when Security Mode is switched On.
I cannot access the Set Up Mode / Menu.
Ensure the alarm is switched Off. Is the Alarm Clock symbol displayed?
Some Menu functions are locked when the Alarm is On or Security Mode is On. Press the Alarm
button to de-activate the Alarm.
Nightlight Level
If you have the nightlight level at maximum brightness and the nightlight ON, when you press the
Alarm button to set the Alarm the light will come on at full brightness.To adjust this, either lower
the nightlight level or set the nightlight to OFF in Set Up Mode.
Can the unit be reset to the factory default settings?
Yes. First unplug the SRS 100 from the mains supply and wait for 10 seconds, after this plug the
SRS 100 back into the mains supply and wait until the display shows SRS 100. When the display
reads SRS 100 momentarily press the SET button. If the reset is successful the display will show
VERSION and a number. You will need to re-enter your menu options.
Can I use any light bulb in the lamp attached to my SRS 100?
No, you must use a regular tungsten light bulb to the recommended wattage for your lamp, not
exceeding 200W (SRS 100 USA model) and 300W (SRS 100 UK & EU models).
The Sunrise System will not work properly if a fluorescent Energy Saver Bulb bulb is used. Do not
use with a 'dimming' lamp. For advice on low energy bulbs suitable for use with the SRS 100 email
