The R-080080, R-080081, R-080082, R-080083 and R-080084 are easily-handled
model cutters, especially designed for use in the dental prothesis sector. They are
structurally similar, with these small differences:
• The R-080080 is fitted with a disc of special abrasive resins. It has a system for
cleaning the disc with water.
• The R-080081 is fitted with a diamond disc that enhances its durability, and reduces
the work required in facing the models. This unit also has a disc-cleaning system that
uses water.
• The R-080082 is fitted with a silicon carbide disc. It has a system for cleaning the disc
with water. The R-080082 and the R-080083 are the most powerful MESTRA
trimmers.
• The R-080083 is fitted with a diamond disc and also has a dic-cleaning system that
uses water. Same power level as the 080082.
• The R-080084 is fitted with a diamond disc, but the disc is not cleaned with water.
This means greater stability and minimum effort in cutting, since the plaster does not
get dampened.
INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT
1. Carefully unpack the model cutter. Check that it has not sustained damage during
shipment.
2. Position the unit on a flat and firm surface remote from any source of heat or
vibration. There should be a water tap nearby with a threaded outlet, as well as a
drainage connection (except R-080084).
3. Connect the right-angle end of the flexible tube onto the nozzle at the back of the
unit. Connect the other end to the water source. To do this, screw the free nut al the
end of the flexible tube onto the head of the tap (except R-080084).
4. Fit the drainage tube onto the nozzle (F) at the lower front right of the model cutter.
Connect the other end of the tube to the drainage (except R-080084). Ensure that the
drainage tube has a certain fall so as to prevent stagnation at the outlet and thus
improve drainage.
5. In the case of the R-080084, connect the nozzle (F) to an extractor to remove
particles produced during abrasion.
6. The unit has four attachment suckers. In the design, special attention was given to
ensuring sufficient weight and robustness to prevent movements during handling, so
that it is not necessary to use additional fastening components.
7. Connect the unit to a 230 V, 50/60 Hz outlet with earth.
