Warning: The external part should not be
mounted:
 Within the driver's visual fi eld, or in areas where 
it would hinder the driver's view in any direction;
 In the area of the front windscreen wipers;

 In the tinted section of the windscreen;

 In an area where objects may hang over

the external OBU (overhanging roof-mounted
cargo, vehicle structural components hanging
over the windscreen, etc.).
In case at least one of these conditions cannot be
fulfi lled, please see the last page of this Instruction
for the fi gures illustrating how to mount the OBU
on special vehicles.
4. Remove the protective foil from the back side
of the bracket's adhesive tapes and attach
the bracket to the position on the windscreen
selected before (C2).
5. Please check if the external OBU can be
removed from the bracket, if necessary, and
properly inserted back.
Warning: Do not re-use the assembly kit after
the external OBU bracket has been demounted.
Please contact any service point to receive
a new assembly kit with a bracket.
