Included components and delivery inspection

The device is delivered with the following components as standard:
● Baby unit

NOTE
► Check the delivery for completeness and visible damage. Inform
your supplier in the event of incomplete or damaged deliveries.

Disposing of packaging materials

The packaging protects the device from damage during
transportation. The packaging materials have been selected
according to environmental and disposal factors, and can therefore
be recycled.
Recycling packaging saves raw materials and reduces the volume
of waste. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed
according to locally applicable regulations.
NOTE
► When possible, retain the original packaging during the warranty
period in order to pack the device properly in the event of
warranty claims.

Positioning requirements

The device must be positioned according to the following
requirements in order to ensure safe and error-free operation:
■ The socket must be easily accessible in order to disconnect the
power cable in an emergency.
■ The device must be positioned in a dry location.
■ The units must be positioned on a level, horizontal surface.
■ The parent unit and baby unit must be kept at least 1 metre apart.
■ The distance between the baby unit and the object to be
monitored (e.g. baby) must be at least one metre (due to
radiation).
■ Do not place the "BC-100" in the immediate vicinity of computers,
electric ovens, microwaves, cordless telephones or fl uorescent
lamps. This can disturb and distort the audio signals.
NOTE
► If the signal is weak, move the transmitter/receiver to another
location or change the frequency.
► You can only change the frequency if the alternate frequency is
not blocked by another transmitter.
► To improve the transmitting power, we recommend that both
the transmitter and the receiver should always be placed in an
upright position.
