6101120600RP - Grill Assembly for TBQ
Replacement Instructions
1. Unplug unit.
2. Remove Drip Tray from the back of
the BBQ.
3. Remove six (6) Phillips screws to
remove rear panel of BBQ (Fig. 1).
4. Accessing the underside of the grill,
remove one (1) M6x6 socket hex
head bolt and washer on either side
of the grill (Fig. 2).
5. Remove four (4) Phillips screws
from underneath the Control
Assembly (Fig. 3).
6. Swivel Control Panel Skin out from
the bottom and pull down until tabs
of skin clear chassis (Fig. 4).
Remove skin.
7. Remove eight (8) Phillips screws
from bottom panel of Control
Assembly (Fig. 5).
8. Carefully pull bottom panel down
and free from Control Assembly.
9. Trace the two (2) cables which lead
from the grill and loosen the plastic
nuts from each of their strain relief
bushings (Fig. 6).
10. Cut all cable ties leading from grill
cables.
11. Trace wires from grill cables to
circuit board and remove the two
(2) wire connections, noting their
original locations (Fig. 6).
12. With wires and cables completely
freed, feed wires and cables
through bottom panel and chassis
and remove Grill Assembly from
above. Keep plastic strain reliefs
and nuts for reassembly.
13. Feed cables from replacement
Grill Assembly through holes in
chassis and position grill in place as
original.
14. Slide plastic strain reliefs onto
cable and continue to slide cable
through the strain reliefs located
in the bottom panel of the control
assembly.
15. Loosely thread the strain relief nuts
onto the strain reliefs.

16. Connect wires from new Grill
Assembly to circuit board following
Fig. 6 and Wiring description below.
17. Leaving some slack in the
wires, tighten plastic nuts onto
strain reliefs.
18. Follow steps 1 through 8 in reverse
order to reassemble BBQ.
Wiring:
Black wire from left side grill cable to
JP5 terminal of board.
White wire from right side grill cable to
JP1 terminal.
Black wire from power cord to JP2
terminal.
White wire from power cord to JP3
terminal.
