RF Wall Mount Sensor — RFOSW03 — Quick Start Guide
NOTES:
For Indoor Use Only - Operating Temperature: 0ºC to 40ºC
RF Frequency: 908MHz - FCC Certified
Power Supply: 3 AAA batteries (not included)
Compatible with all Z-Wave ® devices regardless of manufacturer
This device does not act as a repeater in a Z-Wave network.
Description:
The RF Wall Mount Sensor is a 3-in-1 sensor for detecting motion, light level, and temperature. When used with a Cooper Wiring Devices Aspire RF
(RFHDCSG) or Table Top (RFTDCSG) controller, you can configure the sensor to turn on 1-4 other Z-Wave devices such as switches, dimmers, or receptacles when
motion is detected. When used with the Aspire RF's Pro Software (Cat. # RFBER or Cat. # RFUSB-PRO) running on a PC or dedicated home automation controller, you
can also sense light and temperature levels in addition to motion, and these levels can be used to trigger any type of event.
Installation Instructions:
1. Open the enclosure by grasping the latch on the bottom and pulling the two halves apart.
2. Insert three AAA batteries noting the proper orientation.
3. Close the enclosure by inserting the top of the back into the top of the front and pressing the bottom of the back to close the latch.
4. Press the blue button on the left hand side of the product.
5. The RF Wall Mount Sensor can be placed on any flat surface or mounted to the wall by using screws or double-sided tape. (Provided with the product). The
RF Wall Mount Sensor should be mounted 6-8 feet (2 meters) above the floor and flat on the wall surface. It does not need to be pointed downward as the lens
is designed to scan the area below it. The LED on the unit should be facing downward when mounted on the wall.
Z-Wave Inclusion: (Install):
1. Follow the instructions on the Z-Wave Primary Controller (RF232, RFHDCSG, RFTDCSG, or RFUSB-PRO), to install a Z-Wave device.
2. Press the blue button on the RF Wall Mount Sensor.
3. The LED will blink whenever motion is detected if the sensor has been properly added to the Z-Wave network.
4. Using your primary Z-Wave controller, you can add Associations to the sensor. It will control up to four other Z-Wave devices when motion is detected. See the
Z-Wave Primary Controller instructions for details.
5. The RF Wall Mount Sensor will remain awake for 10 minutes to allow time for additional configuration or network optimization. Press the blue button to restart the
10 minute timer if additional time is needed.
Z-Wave Exclusion (Uninstall):
1. Follow the instructions on the Z-Wave Primary Controller to reset a Z-Wave device.
2. Press the blue button on the RF Wall Mount Sensor.
3. This will reset the sensor to its factory defaults.
4. The LED will blink rapidly.

Description :
RFUSB-
