8.
Using a shoulder screw and flange lock nut
install the two cargo hinge brackets (ref. #13
and #14) onto the side holes at the rear bottom
of the EZ Connect bracket assembly. See
Figure 1-7.
NOTE: Make sure the hardware is oriented
with the shoulder screw toward the outside
of the frame, and the bracket with the flange
lock nut toward the inside. The flange on each
bracket must face in.
Figure 1-7
NOTE: The hardware installed in step 7 will act
as a stop and the hardware installed in step 8
will act as a hinge. See inset in Figure 1-7.
9.
Use the carriage screw (ref. #19) and wing nut
(ref #21) to secure either the left or right side
cargo hinge bracket to the frame finger tight.
See Figure 1-8.

Secure the two cargo support brackets (ref.
#15) to the inside of the cargo hinge brackets
using two hex screws (ref. #18) and two flange
lock nuts per bracket pairing as shown in
Figure 1-9.
Figure 1-9
11.
Secure the cargo carrier (ref. #16) to the cargo
support brackets using the four carriage
screws (ref. #19) and four flange lock nuts (ref.
#20). See Figure 1-10.

12.
Use the cargo carrier platform for material
storage. Use the holes all along the sides of the
cargo carrier rim to strap materials down. See
Figure 1-11.
NOTE: Always transport material with wing
nut and carriage screw in place and cargo
carrier parallel to the ground.
Figure 1-11
NOTE: The cargo carrier can be flipped up and
secured for storage or when not needed for
use.
13.
To flip the cargo carrier up, first remove the
wing nut and carriage screw securing the
cargo carrier level, parallel to the ground. See
Figure 1-12.
Figure 1-12
14.
Flip the cargo carrier up on the cargo hinge
brackets. See 1 in Figure 1-13.
15.
Line up the holes between the cargo hinge
bracket and the RH or LH bracket assembly
from the Hitch Bracket assembly, and secure
with the carriage screw and wing nut until
finger tight. See 2 in Figure 1-13.
