2.1 COUPLING THE CULTIVATOR TO THE DRIVE UNIT
The cultivator is couple to the drive unit by means of a quick-couple. Push the
cultivator's shaft into the drive unit's couple until it snaps into position. To
separate the units, first pull up the coupling release.
The following attachments are available:
− Coupling extension: essential when the rotary cultivator is fitted with 5.0x10"
wheels or diameter 490 mm steel wheels.
− Transport wheel.
2.2 SETTING WORK DEPTH
Cultivator work depth can be set by slackening off screws A (fig.1) and moving
the regulation rod to the desired depth.
2.3 COWLING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
To regulate cowling height, insert screw B (fig.2) in one of the holes in the height
adjustment rod. This adjustment is necessary to prevent soil from blocking the
machine when you are working on very wet ground or to prevent making too
much dust when the soil is very dry.
2.4 COWLING WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
Cowling width is adjusted by moving screws C (fig.3) in the holes for the
cultivating width desired. Repeat this operation on the other side of the cowling.
2.5 CULTIVATION WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
The precise layout of the spades and their mounts for the various cultivation
widths for the "21 cultivator" is shown in the following figures: 700mm (fig.4);
570mm (fig.5); 480mm (fig.6); 400mm (fig.7).
For the "21M cultivator" the exact layout is shown in the following figures: 700mm
(fig.8); 570mm (fig.9); 400mm (fig.10).
