. . DISMANTLING THE SLACKLINE:
OPEN THE HANDLE BY RELEASING THE SAFETY LEVER AND MOVE THE HANDLE UNTIL THE SAFETY
LEVER IS OVER THE TENSIONING COG BRACKET. OPEN THE HANDLE CAREFULLY, WHILE KEEPING
YOUR DISTANCE AS DEPENDING ON THE LEVEL OF TENSION THE RELEASE IS IMMEDIATE!
IMPORTANT! The band is under tension and injury and/or death may occur if not carefully dismantled. Once
the tension is released, you can dismantle the ratchet on the other side. Open the ratchet and pull on the
webbing fitfully (13). This will spin the drum and release the webbing from the ratchet.
Once the band is released, inspect the band for abrasions and damage, make sure the band is clean and dry,
and roll up the band.

Once the second ratchet drum is full switch
to the first ratchet and if necessary give final
tension keeping in mind that a maximum of 1,5
revolutions is possible.
IMPORTANT! The slackline must not exceed
three rotations around the axle of the ratchet.
The tension on the lever of the ratchet
must NEVER exceed 85 pounds (approx.
378N/38.5kg) to prevent seizure and/or fail-
ure of the system that may result in serious
injury and/or death.
As soon as the band reaches the desired ten-
sion, check the ratchet to ensure that the bolt
("G" in image 11A & 11B) rests neatly in the cog-
ging ("H" in image 11A & 11B) and bring the lever
back up to a horizontal position parallel to the
band ("I" in image 11B).
DO NOT USE THE SLACKLINE IF THE RATCH-
ET IS NOT FULLY SECURED AND LOCKED
(UNLOCKED: Image 11A; LOCKED: Image 11B)!
Tip: The closed lever ("I" in Image 11B) is a good
indicator that the bolt rests in the cogging and
that the ratchet is secured and locked.
You may adjust the tension of the band ac-
cording to your personal preference, so long
as the tension on the lever does not exceed 85
pounds (378 N / 38.5 kg).
You are now ready to go and enjoy the ANDY
LEWIS TRICKLINE!
