OILING THE CHAIN

You must do this whenever you use a new chain (6) for the first time. Take the new
chain (6) out of its plastic bag and soak it in chain oil for at least an hour before
using it. Use specific chainsaw oil. We recommend that you use only one brand of
oil during the lifetime of your chainsaw because mixtures of different oils could lead
