9. Move throttle lever to "Fast" position (A), shown as a
rabbit•
To start the engine for the very first time:
10. Push primer bulb firmly 5 times, waiting 2 seconds
between each push•
To start engine thereafter:
11. Press primer bulb firmly 3 times, waiting 2 seconds
between each push. For a warm engine, DONOT press
primer bulb.
IMPORTANT:Before starting the pressure washer, be sure
/ou are wearing adequatesafety goggles.

12. When starting engine, position yourself as
recommended and grasp starter grip handle and pull
slowly until you feel some resistance. Then pull rapidly
to start engine.
WARHIHG
Starter cord kickback (rapid retraction) can result
in bodily injury. Kickback will pull hand and arm
_ toward engine faster than you can let go.
Broken bones, fractures, bruises, or sprains
could result.
• NEVER pull startercord withoutfirst relievingspraygun
pressure.
• Whenstartingengine,pull cord slowlyuntil resistance is felt
andthen pull rapidlyto avoidkickback.
After eachstartingattempt,whereengine fails to run, always
pointspraygun in safedirection,pressred buttonand squeeze
sprayguntriggerto release high pressure.

pressure sprayto avoidinjury whenspraygun kicks back.
13. Return recoil starter slowly. DO NOT let rope "snap
back" against starter.
NOTE:Always keepthe throttle lever in the "Fast" position
when operating the pressure washer.
