To do this, follow the steps below:
• Connect the external monitor to the RCA jack (3) on the rear panel of the player (see rear panel description,
page 17)
• Press the MENU button and switch the player to MEDIA mode
• Press the BND / AMS key several times until you reach the video mode
• While the video is playing on the player screen, press the BND / AMS key long
• The image on the player screen will be displayed on the monitor screen
Note: The image does not appear simultaneously on both the player screen and the external monitor screen.
While the AV-out function is on, the player's screen remains black.
The upper RCA jack also has an AV-in function. Here you can connect an external monitor or headrest to
transmit images from it to the MP5 player.
• Connect the external monitor to the RCA jack (3) on the rear panel of the player (see rear panel description)
• Press the MENU button and switch the player to AUX mode, long press BND/AMS key until on the screen
of the player will appear on the connected monitor
ENABLE REARVIEW CAMERA FUNCTION
ATTENTION: In order to mount the reversing camera we recommend that you call a specialist installer or car
electrician.
• Connect a reversing chamber to the RCA jack (4) on the rear panel of the player (see rear panel
description)
• On the player's screen, the image transmitted by the reversing camera will appear when the reversing
speed is activated and the reversing lamp illuminated (this will power the camera and transmit on an
additional wire a 12 V voltage signal to PNI 9545 on the white wire. / black-sensor rear camera). On the
player screen will appear the image transmitted by the camera for the marshal.
