Operation / Adjustment
Your lawn mower has already been factory-set
and tested. In case you need to reset it, follow the
instructions below:
•
Adjust the handle to the position ideal for
operation.
•
Rotor blades should touch the fixed blade in
its entire area.
•
Adjust cutting blade by turning screws
clockwise. Keep it close to the rotary cutters.
•
To adjust cutting height, pull the adjustment
handle out of the side so that the pins can be
removed, one by one, to the holes chosen on
the side.
1 - Remove stones,
cans, pieces of
glass and bigger
branches before
using lawn
mower.
2 - Keep it away from
children.
3 - Always mow the
lawn in the same
direction.
Lubrication:
Frequently lubricate lawn mower with SAE 30 oil. Remove the cap from the wheel, the safety pin, the wheel
and the ratchet gear. Pour some oil on the rotor axle and allow it to flow to the roller bearing.
2
Do neither turn the ratchet pawl nor change the bearings from one side to the other. Reassemble.
4 - Never use a file to
sharpen blades. If
well-adjusted,
they will sharpen
themselves
automatically.
5 - Adjust the handle to the ideal position for
operation. The adjustment of the cutting
blade is made by
turning screws
clockwise so that
they stay close to
the rotary
cutters.
6 - To adjust cutting height, pull the adjustment
handle out of the side so that pins can be
removed one by
one to the holes
chosen on the
side. This
adjustment is
made according
to the height and
amount of grass.
7 - Frequently lubricate lawn mower with SAE 30
oil. Remove the cap from the wheel, the safety
pin, the wheel and the ratchet gear. Pour
some oil on the rotor axle and allow it to flow
to the roller
bearing. When
assembling, do
neither turn the
ratchet pawl nor
change the
bearings from
side to side.
8 - To assure better
performance and
durability, store it
in a dry place,
protected from
the weather, and
clean it after use.
