The crown has 3 positions :
G
1. Normal position, occasional winding
2. Setting the date
3. Setting the hours and minutes,

stop-seconds
SETTING THE TIME :
1. Wind the movement if necessary.
2. Pull the crown out to position 3.
The seconds hand will stop.
Remember the date advances at
12:00 midnight, not 12:00 noon.
3. Turn the crown to position the hands
to the desired time.
4. Push the crown back into position 1.
CIRCULAR SLIDE RULE (Fig. 2)
I = Fixed units of measurement (engraved on the watch case)

II = Rotating inner bezel (slide rule)
X = Screw for adjusting the rotating inner bezel (II)
EXAMPLE : How can I multiply 8 × 12 ?
1. Always use the
red number 10
2. Adjust the inner bezel (II) using the screw (X) until the red number 10 is

aligned with 80 (for 8) on the outer ring (I).
3. Find number 12 on the inner bezel (II).
Read off the number on the outer ring (I) that is aligned with the 12 on the inner
bezel (II) for your result (in this case, 96).

H. 30-minute counter
I. 12-hour counter
SETTING THE DATE:
1. Wind the movement if necessary.
2. Pull the crown out to position 2.
3. Turn the crown clockwise until the
desired date is reached.
Note : the date cannot be corrected
between 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
4. Push the crown back into position 1.
