Indication
The ostomy pouch is intended to collect output from a stoma. The barrier is
intended to adhere to intact peristomal skin and is used for positioning of the
ostomy pouch.
Information
Store product horizontally at cool and dry conditions. Product must not be
stored under freezing conditions. Allow product to return to room temperature
before application.

How to use
Preparation
Cut a hole in the barrier to fit the exact size and shape of
the stoma using a pair of small curved scissors and the
cutting guide on the barrier.
You can use the enclosed stoma measuring guide to meas-
ure the size and shape of the stoma.
An exact fit between the hole and the stoma is important to
reduce the risk of leakage and skin problems.
Thoroughly clean the stoma and the surrounding skin area.
The skin must be completely dry before application of the
barrier.
Application
Peel off the protective film from the barrier.
Align the barrier around the stoma and apply pressure on
the barrier to ensure fast adhesion and a perfect fit between
the adhesive and the skin around the stoma.
The barrier must fit snugly around the stoma. To prevent
leakage it is important to ensure a tight seal around the
stoma. When applying pressure to the barrier/pouch on the
abdomen, begin in the area around the stoma and press
the adhesive to the skin. Run a finger all the way around the
stoma to ensure that the barrier seals. Smooth the barrier
down, starting from the stoma and moving outwards to the
edges, to ensure that the barrier has made full contact with
the skin.
Ensure the barrier is dry and clean (When cleaning the
barrier only use water).
Make sure that the lock ring on the pouch is open. Position
the bottom of the pouch coupling at the bottom of the
barrier coupling.
Press the pouch and the barrier together at the bottom
with your middle fingers and with your index fingers apply a
gentle pressure to the top of the coupling until you feel the
pouch is correctly positioned to the barrier.

Close the lock ring by pressing the lock together. The pouch
is securely attached to the barrier when you hear a 'click'.
