B. INSTALL THE SADDLE SENSOR ON THE BICYCLE
1. Choose the right bracelet size
Try the different sizes. The right size has to be adjusted to the bicycle frame. The big screw has to pass through.
2. Assemble the sensor and the bracelet
• a) Install the sensor on the bracelet by sliding it inside. The two arrows have to be aligned.
• b) When the sensor is aligned, screw in the small screw to fix the two elements. This step is optional if you want to be able to take off the sensor from
the bracelet.
3. Place the sensor on the bicycle
Make sure to thoroughly clean your
!
bicycle frame before installing the sensor.
• a) Place the sensor on the bicycle frame on the seatpost or on the seat tube.
Make sure that nothing will impact the sensor during the installation (bike lock, water bottle, etc.).
• b) Installation of the bracelet:
- Take the 25mm or 35mm screw depending on the size of the bracelet.
- Tighten the screw with the nut. Do not tighten too much. You can stop to screw when it gets difficult to turn the bracelet with your hand.
3. IMPACT AND ACCIDENT DETECTION
The electronic system detects different accident situations:
• During the ride (faster than 11km/h)
- Bicycles that hit or are being hit by a significant obstacle (vehicle, wall, pole, etc.) from the front, side or rear.
- Loss of control of the bike (without impact on the bike): slipping on the side or falling off the bike.
• Bicycle at a standstill
- Impact on the bicycle and the cyclist is ejected from the bike.
4. STATE & BATTERY
Once installed and correctly paired (see first use section, page 13), the saddle sensor is totally autonomous (about 5 years, not rechargeable). It is
constantly in sleep mode and only wakes up if an impact is detected on the bicycle. It is not necessary to take care of it often after installation.
We recommend to check from time to time (once a month) if the saddle sensor is working properly.
To do so, you need to place the magnet over the round sign of the saddle sensor to check that the saddle sensor is still activated and that it is still paired
with the vest. Please note that this check should be done in an environment of more than 10°C.

!
In some accidents, if the movements are too slow, or the
amplitude is too weak, it is possible that the detection does
not work on time or not at all.
