Safety Information
DANGER: Risk of electrocution. To reduce the risk of electrocution, please consider the following safety precautions.
□
Do not use the dehumidifier in the bathroom.
□
Do not place the dehumidifier where water could drip onto the unit or the adaptor.
WARNING: Important Electrical Safety Precautions
□
Verify that your household electrical rating is adequate for the model you have chosen. This information can
be found on the rating label, which is located on the AC adapter.
□
Connect the dehumidifier into a properly grounded wall outlet. If the wall outlet you intend to use is not
adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install
the proper outlet.
□
Verify that the dehumidifier is properly grounded. The dehumidifier has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, the plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the electrical outlet or if
the electrical outlet feels warm, do not use the particular outlet.
□
Verify that the wall outlet is accessible after the unit is installed.
