  • Página 7 AVERTISSEMENTS AVANT UTILISATION Capacité intiale Après fabrication, comme toutes les batteries au plomb, les batteries UNIBAT ne disposent pas encore de leur pleine capacité de stockage (capacité intiale 90-100%). Leur pleine capacité ne sera atteinte qu’après plusieurs cycles de pleine charge (soit selon la fréquence d’utilisation après 1 à 6 mois).

    Thanks to their unique internal design, UNIBAT GEL batteries can accept discharge rates of up to 80% to use the maximum of the available energy. Their weak self-discharge guarantees a good stability over time.

    High ambient temperatures reduce the lifespan of batteries. On the contrary, weak temperatures reduce available capacity. Thus, in order to make the most of Unibat batteries performances (number of cycling, lifespan, available capacity), you need to use it in an environment with a temperature between 20°C and 25°C.

Their full capacity only will be reached after few cycling of full charging (it depends on the using frequency during the first 6 months).

    CHARGING STEPS In order to enjoy completely of UNIBAT batteries storage capacity and power performance, it is recommended to charge at least in 3 steps: bulk/boost (main charge), absorption (equalization), float. A constant current of 25% of the capacity is recommended until the equalization voltage is reached.
  • Página 24 As mentionned, the voltage when the battery is rested gives an approximative idea of the remaining capacity. It is a specific indication only given by Unibat batteries. Indeed, with other batteries, the fact the voltage is higher does not guarantee a higher capacity. The only way to know the real capacity of your battery is to charge it, then unload it, and to measure its restored capacity with a tester such as EMROL ones.
